Kathy Terada

Kathy has been a resident and employee of the Wai’anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center since 1977.  She is currently a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Preceptor for the University of Hawai’i and Hawai’i Pacific University.  Growing up as a swimmer and ballet dancer her current interests have expanded to include hula, fitness and strength training, canoe paddling, surfing, and tandem surfing, winning the World Tandem Championships with her partner Brian Keaulana in 2006.  Actively involved in community events, she has been a volunteer worker at the Buffalo Big Board Surfing Classic, Rell Sunn’s Menehune Contest, Braddah Mel’s Waterman Championship, Nā Kama Kai events, and Health Fairs.
