BOUVEY BRADBURY

Born and raised on Oʻahu, Bouvey Bradbury has dedicated more than three decades to protecting Hawaiʻi's beaches and ocean community. A City & County of Honolulu Ocean Safety lifeguard since 1991, Bouvey currently serves as a Lieutenant on Oʻahu's Leeward Coast.

A respected waterman and surfer, Bouvey was recognized with the American Red Cross “In the Line of Duty Hero” award and the Honolulu Fire Department's Civilian Medal of Valor following an extraordinary off-duty ocean rescue at Keawaʻula in 2008. His extensive ocean experience also extends into competitive surfing, where he has served as a judge for amateur and professional surf organizations since 2018.

Bouvey also serves as President of Nā Kiaʻi O Ke Kai Waiʻanae, supporting ocean safety education, rescue excellence, and community outreach along the Waiʻanae Coast. He brings decades of ocean safety experience, leadership, and community service to the Hoʻomaʻa Foundation Board of Directors.
